You can’t have someone else apply for your Director ID on your behalf, but we've created a simple step-by-step guide on how to complete this process to help you out.
There are different security levels within your myGov ID depending on the documents provided at the time you signed up. You can view your security level within the myGov ID app on your device as it is shown at the top of the screen once you've logged in.
If your security level is “Strong” you'll need your tax file number and address associated with the ATO to proceed. If your myGov ID security level is “Standard,” you'll need copies of some documents at hand during Step 3. You'll need two of the following types of documents:

Make sure you save a copy of your Director ID for future reference. You'll be able to look up your Director ID number and update your personal details by going to the Australian Business Registry Services and logging in using your myGov ID.
